When I pull down the various menus, the shortcuts shown are what I want. If you want to reset or revert back to Gimps original preferences, you can do this by following these steps. In this list you can see most important hotkeys for the GIMP under Linux (most of them work on Windows as well). F10 (single-step) seems to do nothing at all.
F5, which used to start a debug session, now invokes the Open File dialog. For example, F4, which used to invoke Properties, now invokes the New File dialog. Somehow my keyboard mappings in Visual Studio 2005 have been changed.
